Title : The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People: Powerful Lessons in Personal Change
Author : Stephen R Covey
Rating : 5 Stars out of 5.
Summary : Thought-provoking
This is a thought-provoking book based on clear principles that can guide us in managing our time. There are many wise ideas contained in the pages of this book.
As an example, I learned that efficiency is something that is appropriate with tasks but with people especially family members you can't be efficient and slot people in as you think best. Instead it is about effectiveness. So you have to give family members the time they need.
Another gem is that you can't balance life at times you have to prioritize according to your values. So a mother (or father) who wants to stay home with their kids when they are young, may need to focus on home instead of career until the kids are older. The goal of balance would be inappropriate for that situation. Mr. Covey also makes it clear the importance of following the compass instead of the clock.
This is an excellent book that people need to read because it gives business direction but from a higher perspective that you rarely find in most literature out there. I also recommend the "8th Insight" also by Covey, "Your Erroneous Zones" by Wayne Dyer, "Nexus" by Deborah Morrison Arvind Singh and "Lateral Thinking" by Edward De Bono. All these book offer unique insights.

Title : Unleash the Warrior Within: Develop the Focus, Discipline, Confidence and Courage You Need to Achieve Unlimited Goals
Author : Richard Machowicz
Rating : 5 Stars out of 5.
Summary : Unleash the Warrior Within
Excellent! A good read full of tips. Richard Machowitz has an interesting, somewhat different point of view - he tells it as it is.

Title : The Richest Man in Babylon
Author : George S. Clason
Rating : 5 Stars out of 5.
Summary : Honest to goodness common sense.
Straight forward and good honest advice. Despite being set in an ancient civilisation the lessons within hold true from page one. Don't make the mistake of dismissing the simple principles that the book extolls for you will find them written in much more complex a fashion in other books. I recommend this to all and suggest you give copies to your family (kids in particular) straight away.

Title : Getting It Done: How to Lead When You're Not in Charge
Author : Roger Fisher
Rating : 5 Stars out of 5.
Summary : Indispensable
Packed with useful advice, techniques and plans for collaborative working and altering the way your colleagues and organisation works. Useful section on analytical thinking: how to make those unstructured, going nowhere meetings more productive. They're also willing to say when trying to change your colleagues' attitudes you won't get it right or be successful all the time, but they make a great case for sticking at it. Very useful, I'll be referring to this for some time to come.

Title : Zero Limits: The Secret Hawaiian System for Wealth, Health, Peace, and More
Author : Joe Vitale
Rating : 5 Stars out of 5.
Summary : Really good book!
I agree with the person that says that this book content "fat", things could be omited, but leaving all these things out, the book is great. His conversations with Dr. Len are very valuable information from first hand. I cannot avoid remember the book "a course of miracles" and see how many things are in common. Or remembering about how schamans say that we live in a world surrounded by corpses because we do not think that anything is alive. how we create our own reality and how we can change it, without anybody else, just been 100% responsable of everything that is in our lifes. This book goes beyond the secret, beyond the law of attraction. It is goes to the core of the self. I would recomended this book with my eyes close.
