Title : It's Not How Good You Are, It's How Good You Want To Be
Author : Paul Arden
Rating : 4 Stars out of 5.
Summary : good advice
Yes its a great little book that contains good advice, makes you think differently and motivates. But I wonder how many people read the book and then acted on it, any of it?! It would be better as a daily calender giving you 1 piece of advice each day which you might then actually act on.

Title : Lessons in Mastery: 5 Spoken Word Cds, 6 Hours
Author : Anthony Robbins
Rating : 4 Stars out of 5.
Summary : Good for the price, but leaves you wanting more
I've been a massive fan of Tony Robbins for a few years now. He's one of the most successful people in the US and has made it his life's work to motivate people to act in the way he has.
Through this set of CD's, he explains why people don't change, and lays down the steps to actively improving your life through determined focus and motivation. Why can't you quit smoking? Why isn't your diet successful? Why does your job suck? Why am I so unhappy?
These are questions everyone asks at some point, and by changing your beliefs and feelings towards given situations, you can become instantly motivated to act and improve.
Although nowhere near as thorough as his Personal Power or Get The Edge series, these CD's offer good pointers on why we shouldn't settle for second best.

Title : A Lifetime of Secrets: A Postsecret Book
Author : Frank Warren
Rating : 5 Stars out of 5.
Summary : What's Your Secret?
This book is filled with the dark unspoken, underbellies of fellow human beings; it will prod you to consider your own secrets and perhaps, to be more human. For anyone who seeks solace in the company of others fortune or misery, or for those of you who'd sneak a peek under the diary's cover if given the chance -- this one as well as the other three Post Secret books by Frank Warren are for you. I also highly recommend the book "Understanding: Train of Thought".

Title : E-myth Mastery: The Seven Essential Disciplines for Building a World Class Company
Author : Michael Gerber
Rating : 5 Stars out of 5.
Summary : In business?Buy this now.
Having started my own business this book, and the whole Gerber approach, has revolutionised the way we work. We already knew we wanted to change some of the things we were doing but not sure exactly what or how. This book crystallised our thinking and has made us a better outfit because of it. I have no hesitation in recommending this to anyone in a business or thinking of going into business. It is not a quick fix, it's not a load of guru speak. It is a very real set of ideas that have worked for this humble photographer.
