Title : Think and Grow Rich!: The Original Version, Restored and Revised
Author : Napoleon Hill
Rating : 5 Stars out of 5.
Summary : My "desert island" personal development book
I can't remember how long ago I first read this - probably in the early 1980s. This is the book I would keep/take to a desert island if I could only have one.
It's as relevant now as it was when it was first written and my copy is battered, water-damaged, highlighted and anotated and . . . I wouldn't part with it for anything.
"Classic" is an over-used word but it genuinely does apply to this book. Truly wonderful, inspiring and mind-stretching. I come back to this again and again. Get it in any version - I have the book and the audio programme - and use it. I hope you get as much from it at each reading as I do.

Title : Sink Reflections
Author : Marla Cilley
Rating : 5 Stars out of 5.
Summary : Excellent!
Great book, I was actually looking for something else entirely when I came across this book and so glad I did.
My house has always looked like a bomb had hit it I have a had a running battle with it every day, even when I was a stay at home mum I could never sort it out. This book is the 'lightbulb' moment and I'm really gradually getting it all sorted and so painlessly and dare I say actually fun...if you don't get inspiration from this book then you probably are not yet ready to declutter your life, I talked to my sister about it and she hasn't yet been able to see how it can help her, still very negative 'I don't have the time@ blah blah; I go to work full time and have 2 kids at home, she is on her own and not at work, she has even comented on how tidy, clean, lovely my kitchen is all the time and can't imagine how I manage it, I tell her that once I have washed up after tea (she has a dishwasher, while I wash by hand) it takes me 15 mins to wipe the sides, sweep the floor and shine my sink then I spend the rest of the evening watching tv or reading; she doesn't belive me but it's true.
My bedroom is becomming the haven I always wanted it to be, no piles of clothes that need to be ironed and/or put away, bed is made every morning and I no longer have sneezing fits every time I go in there due to overload of dust! I now spend time in my room relaxing while the kids watch tv or play music downstairs. All I can say is if you are ready to really sort out your home, open your mind and read this book. I have been on the website too and it's great.

Title : Goals! How to Get Everything You Want - Faster Than You Ever Thought Possible
Author : Brian Tracy

I've read about fifty self-help books and this is the best.
Brian Tracy can say in one page what other authors (notably anthony robbins) will spend a whole chapter on.

Title : The 8th Habit: From Effectiveness to Greatness
Author : Stephen R. Covey
Rating : 2 Stars out of 5.
Summary : 9th Habit - Be Concise and Get to the Point
I've been through the 7 Habits and First Things First, now I'm on the 8th Habit. Boy#8212;is this dull! This is mostly a re-hash of the 7 Habits with more of a focus towards teams, leadership and businesses. As someone who works mostly on my own and not in a team, this book did not seem overly relevant to those in a similar position.
There are a few new ideas in here but not many. The short films are a nice touch which helps to break things up a little. I listened to this while out walking so couldn't just stop and watch them when instructed.
Ironically for a book about 'finding your voice,' I found Mr Covey's voice extremely dull, lifeless and uninspiring#8212;not a patch on Tony Robbins' level of excitement#8212;I often felt myself wandering off into a daydream while listening and then having to rewind to see if I had missed any astounding revelation (which for the most part, I had not).
A manual for greatness, this is not#8212;a cure for insomnia, quite possibly.
